2009 Indiana ReplicAle

The Replicale is a brew produced by many Indiana breweries once
a year, and is traditionally served at the July 18th
Microbrewers Festival and at an unofficial event a couple of
weeks later at Spencer's Stadium Tavern, as well as at your
local brewpubs, of course.

This years style is a German Alt. Each brewery will be
using 100% European malt and an Americanized German hop.

Malt:
Global Kolsch         85%
Global Vienna           9%
Global Munich dark   5%
Weyermann Carafa1 1%

Hops:
Perle

Yeast:
Brewer’s choice.

Half Moon’s version will be released on tap Thursday,
July 16th.  Most of you will remember the Indiana Alt that
John made from a few months ago, but this German Alt is a
bit lighter in color.  Alt means “old” in German, so this
is an “Old” Style German Ale typically brewed in the
northern regions. O.G. – 1053    ABV – 5.1%    IBU - 32
